The Auditory Processing Clinic

Where Listening is a Process.

What is Auditory Processing?

Simply put: Auditory processing is what our brain does with what our ears hear.

When someone has an auditory processing disorder (APD), they often have trouble understanding what is said to them because their brain is not using sounds correctly. If you have concerns for APD, complete our checklist to find out if you would benefit from an evaluation.

We take a collaborative approach to diagnosing and treating APD. Our audiologist conducts a comprehensive evaluation to understand each patient's unique auditory challenges, while our speech-language pathologists provide innovative therapy.
